Pugs
Pugs are loveable canine clowns. They love to entertain and play. They are willing to be held all day long. Pugs were origiionally bred to be lap dogs. They are loveable, snuggly bundles of love.
Our pugs are very gentle and loving. Our males and females have wonderful dispositions. They live indoors with our family most of the time. Quite often, each child has a pug on with them while doing their homework.
Pugs are not suited for extreme temperatures. They are truly a house dog. They do not rquire a yard, but do require a daily exercise period. Intense heat and cold are hard for a brachycephalic (flattened) face dog. A pug can not participate in extreme sports such as running or hiking.
Pugs are even tempered. They are great with kids, after the child is not a toddler. Toddlers must be watched with all dogs, as their loving actions can harm a dog.
A pug was rumored to have passed noted between Josephine and Napoleon when he was imprisioned.
Multum in parvo - is a latin phrase used to describe Pugs. This translates into a lot of dog in a little package. These are wonderful companions. The job of a Pug is a great...to be a friend and a companion. Who can ask for a better job?
